Dynatrace named a Leader in 2020 Gartner Magic Quadrant for APM

Gartner just released its latest Magic Quadrant for Application Performance Monitoring (APM), and a separate Critical Capabilities for APM report. We are thrilled to share Dynatrace has been named a Leader for Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute for the 10th consecutive time. For the third time in a row, we are positioned furthest in the quadrant for Completeness of Vision. Also, in a field of fifteen vendors analyzed by Gartner, Dynatrace received the highest scores in five of six critical capabilities use cases: CloudOps, DevOps Release, IT Operations, Application Support, and Application Development. This is a transformative moment for our customers and the communities we serve. More than ever, we are all relying on applications to drive revenue, stay connected with customers, and maintain employee productivity. We believe this Magic Quadrant placement along with the Critical Capabilities scores are a testament to our ability to help organizations achieve these goals. The Dynatrace Software Intelligence Platform includes multiple modules, underpinned by a common data model. In addition to APM, this platform offers customers infrastructure monitoring spanning logs and metrics, digital business analytics, digital experience monitoring, and AIOps capabilities. Our explainable AI engine, Davis™, which is built into the core of the Dynatrace platform, proactively delivers precise answers to system degradations and performance anomalies, and automatically prioritizes these based on business impact. The combination of our broad platform with powerful, explainable AI-assistance and automation helps our customers reduce wasted motions and accelerate better business outcomes – whether that’s speed and quality of innovation for IT, automation, and efficiency for DevOps, or optimization and consistency of user experiences. Dynatrace makes this easy – it comes out-of-the-box, no silos of data, no DIY stitching together tools, no wasted time, and no wasted resources.
